They had at least 4 home runs. We couldn't put many hits together. For the second out of the game, Kohlmetz fielded a grounder at first, and fell on his face running to tag first. By the time he maded the head-first diving tag at first, the ball was not in his glove. It was about 8 feet away near the fence, he most likely lost it when he fell, but the cloud of dust blocked it from the umps view. The ump thought the ball was lost after the glove tagged the base. Later in the game, a Depot runner -- thinking there were 3 outs after an appeal that a runner left to early -- abandoned first and was also tagged, but was allowed to remain on base because the ump said time was out as soon as he started talking to the official scorer.
