Six inning game. We hit very well with 3 doubles, 3 triples and 3 home runs. HR's were from Kren, Smith and Kutz. We had the minimum of 9 players. Boldt sprained an ankle running out his triple but had to stay in the game because of the shortage of players. One easy run was lost when Kohlmetz tripped rounding third base and was tagged out in a pickle. Since no throw was being made on him he could have walked in from third. In the 3rd we had 9 straight hits. Smith had his second straight game with an assist from the outfield gunning a runner at third. Earlier in the game he had another runner dead to rights at third, but the ball hit the runner. We had a runner at first and the tying run at third with two out in the last inning when Kaesmeyer flew out to left. Kohlmetz played third base and started the game with a throwing error.
